Autofill Login Setup

Use these steps to save your US Visa portal username, password, and security question answers for autofill.

Chrome Extension

  1. Open Chrome and click the Check US Visa Slots extension icon.
  2. If you need the full settings page, right-click the extension icon and click Options.
  3. Enter your Access Code and submit it to activate the extension if it is not already saved.
  4. In the Auto login Settings section, keep Auto complete login turned on.
  5. Enter your portal Username and Password.
  6. Add answers for the listed Security Questions.
  7. Click SAVE.
  8. Open the US Visa Scheduling login page and let the extension fill in the saved details.

Troubleshooting: If autofill does not work, reopen the extension popup, confirm your details are saved, and refresh the login page.

Safari on Mac

  1. Open Safari and go to the US Visa Scheduling login page.
  2. Click the Extensions icon near the Safari address bar.
  3. Select Check US Visa Slots Extension.
  4. If prompted, click Always Allow.
  5. If prompted again, click Allow Always on This Website.
  6. Open the extension popup.
  7. If you need Safari extension settings, right-click in Safari, choose Manage Extensions, select Check US Visa Slots Extension, and open Settings.
  8. Enter your Access Code and submit it to activate the extension if needed.
  9. Turn on Auto complete login.
  10. Enter your portal Username and Password.
  11. Add answers for the listed Security Questions.
  12. Save the details.
  13. Reload the US Visa portal login page and let the extension autofill the saved details.

Troubleshooting: If the autofill section does not appear, open Safari extension settings and make sure Check US Visa Slots Extension is enabled for the website.

Safari on iPhone or iPad

  1. Open Safari and go to the US Visa Scheduling login page.
  2. Tap the aA or extension menu in the address bar. On iPad, use the Extensions icon in the address bar.
  3. Select Check US Visa Slots Extension.
  4. Tap Always Allow.
  5. Tap Allow Always on This Website if Safari asks again.
  6. Open the extension popup.
  7. If the extension does not respond, open another page such as google.com, open Manage Extensions from the address bar menu, then turn Check US Visa Slots Extension off and back on. On iPad, use the Extensions icon in the address bar to reach Manage Extensions.
  8. Enter your Access Code and submit it to activate the extension if needed.
  9. Turn on Auto complete login.
  10. Enter your portal Username and Password.
  11. Add answers for the listed Security Questions.
  12. Save the details.
  13. Reload the US Visa portal login page and let the extension autofill the saved details.

Troubleshooting: If the extension does not open, use Manage Extensions in Safari to turn Check US Visa Slots Extension off and back on, then try again.
